Basic consultation: Hourly assistance for the homeowner who needs a jump-start with new ideas or a framework to help with decision-making. We often address questions like “Where do I get started- I am going in circles on where to begin”, or “What color should I use for my walls?” Customers who need help “finding the perfect sofa or chair” are provided with retail, internet, and trade-only resources.

Space planning services include scale floor plan drawings and elevations to illustrate window & wall treatments.

Design and Selection of interior finishes & materials: flooring and floor coverings, window, ceiling and wall treatments, lighting, furniture, fabrics, accessories, bath and kitchen cabinets, fixtures, hardware, custom cabinets and millwork.

Construction/renovation services: selection of material specifications needed for the renovation or new construction – including architectural lighting, wall, ceiling & flooring materials, kitchen & bath fixtures and cabinetry, stone, tile, and hardware options.

Project management, coordination with architects, contractors, kitchen, land lighting & acoustical designers

I am available to serve as your purchasing agent for all retail, catalog, internet, and trade-only sources.

As your advocate in the market place, I will inform your purchasing decisions to avoid improperly priced or manufactured items. If something requires replacement, then it was not a “deal” in the first place. As the old saying goes, “buy the best and you’ll only scream once”.

Trade only vendors: Victoria Smith Interiors charges an hourly rate for shopping and a percentage fee of the purchase price-, which covers oversight time for specification, manufacture, and shipping to your home.

We use over 110 different wholesale vendors at all price points, and we welcome you to browse our paint and fabric sample lines. We have access to trade-only vendors and maintain accounts through New York, Boston, and Atlanta showrooms. We are happy to accommodate clients that enjoy visiting these trade-only suppliers.

Retail: Should you elect to purchase retail-only items, such as antiques & art- our pricing always reflects discounts extended to designers.

Catalog/Internet: We will be happy to guide you to “finds” via these sources. You are welcome to order directly, or Victoria Smith Interiors will be happy to execute a purchase for you.
